The Reference Slip Angle is defined as the Rear Slip Angle which is the lesser of:- the value achieved during quasi-steady cornering at maximum lateral acceleration (without Stability Control activation) for a particularsurface.- 150% of the linear extrapolation from Rear Slip Angles generated for lateral accelerations less than 70% of the maximum lateralacceleration. This requirement has REFERENCE priority for Rates of Steering Wheel Angle Change greater than 850 degrees / second or performancenear transmission downshifts due to Accelerator Pedal apply.
