Abstract: In the era of big data, the amount of information is huge. Facing such a situation, contemporary college students should have a skill, the ability to integrate information. Among them, learning literature retrieval is a good decision. This article considers the effect of literature retrieval skills on college students' study and future study career. Document retrieval can cultivate college students' information awareness, scientific research ability, and self-learning ability, as well as promote resource development, save scientific research time, avoid repeated research, and promote academic exchanges.
