In this paper, extending the model in Ref. 11, the effect of the phase fluctuation on entanglement purification is investigated. This fluctuation corresponds to aclassical noise. Usually, noise is considered as a disruptive factor in most of physicalprocesses. Our result displays that unexpectedly, this classical noise plays a constructive role in entanglement purification. Specifically, assisted by this noise, theMES can be generated for some initial states near the fractal boundary. These initialstates can only be purified into the separable one if there is no phase noise. Additionally, the minimal iteration steps to obtain an MES is decreased with the phasenoise, which leads to saving the resource in performing entanglement purification. Our results complement the study in Ref. 11.
