Supplier Naming Conventions Each SPC point provided by the Supplier must have a unique name/identifier. This will help distinguish the RH and LH parts and also assist investigations to immediately determine which SPC measurement is out of specification. If point labels do not exist, and need to be added, the naming conventions used should follow TS-0002978, TSL’s Dimensional Standards for Design; or otherwise follow the format provided to you by your TSL Dimensional/Design Engineer point of contact. Example: As long as the feature name is relevant and is a unique identifier, data will be able to be collected.
