As with the other aspects, resilience can be improved with training, and there is also evidence that higher levels of resilience can improve performance and enhance psychosocial functioning(Robertson etal, 2015) , and as such it is worth taking note of. It should be noted that resilience is abroad subject, and many forms take place. It appears there is no conclusive body of knowledge to suggest an exact route to improvement, or indeed what works the best. To this extent, it remains very much at the fore, but still has an air of mystery regarding the optimum approach. We will focus more on resilience in the following chapter, but we felt it important to mention here as one of our three fundamental aspects to overall wellbeing and for inclusion as a header in any workplace wellbeing strategy.
