With the increasing number of passengers traveling by air, there are obvious differences in their age, body, language, customs and traditional culture, so there are higher requirements for the verbal communication skills of flight attendants. Through the research on the current verbal communication status of flight attendants, we know that there are still some problems to be solved. Therefore, it is very necessary to better promote the good communication between flight attendants and passengers and strengthen the research in this field. In this regard, this paper first expounds the definition of verbal communication, matters needing attention in verbal communication in flight attendants, and the importance of improving verbal communication skills in flight attendants. Secondly, it focuses on the analysis of the present situation and existing problems of verbal communication in flight attendants, including: inaccurate pronunciation of flight attendants, resulting in semantic errors; Due to cultural understanding deviation, communication barriers with passengers are caused; Flight attendants are under great psychological pressure, which leads to bad emotions in verbal communication; Finally, according to the existing problems, the corresponding countermeasures are put forward, hoping that the research in this paper can play a certain role in the good communication between flight attendants and passengers.
