In this project, shunt capacitors are used for reactive power compensation. There are three common methods: high voltage centralized compensation, separate local compensation and low voltage centralized compensation. The design adopts low-voltage centralized compensation. Low voltage centralized compensation refers to the installation of low-voltage capacitors on the 0.4V low-voltage bus of 10kV substation. Compared with other methods, low-voltage centralized compensation has the advantages of simple wiring, convenient operation and maintenance, high utilization rate of capacitor, high economy and so on. It is one of the commonly used means of reactive power compensation at present. The control mode of shunt capacitor adopts the automatic regulation mode, which is commonly known as the automatic reactive power compensation device. The schematic circuit of low-voltage reactive power automatic compensation device is shown in Figure 1.<br>
