Test Requirement:The purpose of the test is to verify the function of automatic reduction of active power delivered when the reading voltage value at the terminal of the storage system close to 110% Vn.The procedure as follows:- Enable the reduction function of the active power P(V), as specified by the manufacturer, (which should be indicated in the test report).- Regulate the voltage reading at the output terminals of the converter to -2% of the activation threshold stated by the manufacturer and the d.c. source so that the supplied active output power is equal to the maximum available power in emission.- Set the reading voltage to the converter output terminal to +2% of the declared activation threshold by the manufacturer.- Measuring the active power as a 1s average reported the values obtained in a graph in function of time.- Within 5 min from the moment of application of voltage to 2% of the manufacturer’s declared activation threshold (consistent with the capacity of the energy storage system) that occur, in case of storage systems connected to the unidirectional converters, the active power supplied by the inverter has been reduced to a value not higher than 20% PSMAX (20% PNINV, in case of integrated EESS), while in the case of use of bidirectional converters, the EESS is passed to absorb, consistent with given constraints on their capacity, an active power at least equal to 80% PCMAX; the signal device also verify the reduction of power in place (by recording mode in the test report).- adjusts the read voltage to the output terminals of the converter to -2% the activation threshold stated by the manufacturer;- measure the active power as to 1s average, reporting the values obtained in a graph in function of time;- verify the active power supplied by the inverter is consistent with the available output power value from the DC side battery and, if used, the primary source or the one simulated.
