This chapter mainly focuses on physiological parameters with selected edge detection methods to the UAV thermal infrared image (As discussed in Chapter 4). Moving forward from Chapter 4, In the following Chapter, we used vegetation indices based on average reflectance of the region of interest. A new methodology beyond average vegetation indices is proposed to fully explore the benefits of UAVs high spatial resolution. The rest of this chapter analyzed the crop canopy image obtained by UAV thermal infrared remote sensing to study the regularity and characteristics of crop canopy temperature under different unstable environmental conditions. The experiment was conducted in the Tea garden in 2020. This chapter also analyze the factors of pure canopy temperature and studies the variation of tea canopy temperature, which mainly includes: standard deviation and coefficient variation of canopy temperature.
