daughter and I just went to the local store to get some snack food for our flm day. As usual, my daughterhelped me by pushing the trolley, placing our shopping on the counter, packing it in the bag for me and using mybank card to pay as I couldn't reach the card machine. This was just a normal trip to the shop apart from one thingthat was different for us today! We were about to leave when a young man in a blue shirt with brown hair stopped us. He spoke to mydaughter and asked me if it was OK that he bought my daughter some sweets for being so helpful and caring, Mydaughter chose a bag of sweets and he went to pay, but he saw another bag of sweets he thought my daughter wouldlike and asked me if she was allowed to have them. Needless to say, it was hard for me to hold back my tearsbecause of the kindness he had shown us both.My daughter and I thanked him but he didn't want to be thanked. When he left the store, he said,“Please don'tthank me. If the world had a few more kind people, it would be a mucplace to live. If you reallywanttoI'm still so shocked at the kindness this man has shown us. Not only did he take his time to stop and see howmuch my 6-year-old daughter helped me, but he also taught her a very valuable lesson: If you're kind to others, thenothers will be kind in return! My daughter has been helping me in so many ways since I was in my wheelchair. She is my lcg and withouther I'd be lost. She keeps me going in the darkest of my days with her smile. She lights up my entire world.
