5.3 Bolt Circle SpacingWhere the term “equally spaced” is used to define the location of holes, etc., on bolt circles and similar patterns, theangular tolerance for each hole, etc., shall be that specified within the drawing tolerance block. On drawings wherethe block tolerance is not specified, then a tolerance of ±0° 30’ shall apply.5.4 BurrsAll parts shall be free of projections (burrs) extending from all dimensioned edges of a part and, in general, the acceptabilityshall be determined visually (naked eye) or by touch. For those cases where magnification is deemed necessaryto determine the acceptability of deburred edges, this requirement will be specified on the Brooks Automationdrawing.5.5 Blending SurfacesAll intersecting surfaces joined by a radius shall make an un-stepped tangential junction to the surface generated bythe radius. This requirement applies to both external and internal surfaces.5.6 External Corners5.6.1 Sharp CornersWhen a “Sharp Corner” is specified, the edge break shall be .002 maximum and shall be free of burrs as definedin Section 5.4.5.6.2 Break Sharp CornersUnless otherwise specified, the term “Break Sharp Corners” is defined as the removal of material from an edgeso as to create a .002 - .010 radius or chamfer.5.7 Internal CornersUnless otherwise specified, inside corners shall be held to .015 radius maximum.5.8 Drilled Holes5.8.1 Diametric ToleranceThe following tolerances shall apply to all holes where a number, letter or fraction inch is called for or a nominalhole diameter is specified:Hole DiameterTolerancesMetal Parts Non-Metal PartsTable 5-3: Diametric Tolerance
