From the development requirements of the civil aviation transportation industry and the recruitment requirements of airlines for cabin crew, they have made corresponding requirements for the English communication skills of cabin crew. In this practical context, students majoring in flight attendants must attach great importance to the improvement of their cabin English pragmatic skills, in order to ensure that they form an advantage in the employment process and ultimately lay the foundation for their smooth entry into cabin service positions. However, currently, some flight attendant students' English pragmatic abilities are not high, leading to many problems in their employment choices. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the English pragmatic abilities of flight attendant students.<br>This article further studies the English pragmatic ability of flight attendant students. Based on an overall overview of the definition and necessity of English pragmatic ability, it focuses on analyzing and pointing out the problems of English pragmatic ability of flight attendant students, mainly including weak basic English knowledge, inaccurate English oral pronunciation, and lack of infectivity in reading English broadcast words, Subsequently, a targeted and in-depth analysis is conducted on the reasons for the English pragmatic ability problems of flight attendant students.
