Technical English passive sentences have the characteristics of putting important information at the beginning of the sentence to emphasize the narrated object. Existing research mainly combines technical English passive sentences with translation and teaching to explore, focusing on the application of passive sentences, ignoring the internal structure of passive sentences and the influence of language users' cognitive processing on passive sentences. Starting from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, this article discusses the semantic features and syntactic structure of passive voice, using cognitive knowledge interpretation theory as an analysis tool, coding the understanding dimensions behind passive sentences in technical English, and refining the understanding mechanism of passive sentences. Theoretically explain the formation of passive sentences in technical English.

科技英语被动句具有将重要信息放在句首加以强调所叙述客体的特征。已有研究主要将科技英语被动句与翻译，教学相结合进行探究，关注被动句的应用问题，忽略了被动句内部结构，以及语言使用者的认知加工对被动句的影响。本文从认知语言学视角出发，以认知识解理论为分析工具，讨论了被动语态的语义特征和句法结构，编码科技英语被动句背后的识解维度、提炼为被动句的识解机制，从理论上为科技英语被动句的形成作出解释。<br>

English passive sentences of science and technology have the characteristics of putting important information at the beginning of sentences and emphasizing the described object. The existing researches mainly combine EST passive sentences with translation and teaching, paying attention to the application of passive sentences, ignoring the internal structure of passive sentences and the influence of cognitive processing of language users on passive sentences. From the perspective of cognitive linguistics, this paper discusses the semantic features and syntactic structure of passive voice, the cognitive dimension behind coding passive sentences in EST and the cognitive mechanism of extracting them into passive sentences, and theoretically explains the formation of passive sentences in EST.
