Compared with common emulsion, microemulsion is a transparent or semitransparent colloidal dispersion system with isotropy, thermodynamic stability and smaller dispersion size. The latex particle size of the polymer microemulsion is 10-100nm, which has very low surface tension, good permeability, wettability and leveling property. And the film formed by the polymer has good transparency [9].Kechang [10] Meijiao et al. compounded anionic emulsifier (SDS) with nonionic emulsifier (AEO-9 or OP-10) and prepared microemulsion adhesive with solid content as high as 44%, total emulsifier mass fraction less than 2.0% and average particle size less than 50nm using acrylate monomer as raw material by semi-continuous microemulsion polymerization. Compared with conventional emulsion, microemulsion adhesive has the advantages of small particle size, uniform distribution, high friction fastness, soft hand feeling, good color, transparent and smooth film formation, stable storage, etc.
