Compare indicated pressure with the value noted in the Test Report of First Commissioning. With steam conditions of live and exhaust steam being the same as in the Test Report, the pressures in the impulse-wheel chamber and in the intermediate stages - as far as accessible for measurement - ought to be the same as in the Report on condition that the steam throughput is identical in both cases. If appreciable derivations are observed, the flow sections at the blades are likely to be clogged by deposits of salt, silicate or other contaminants.
