The physical properties of carbon dioxide have been studied in detail earlier. Based on this, this chapter focuses on analyzing and studying its flow characteristics under pipeline conditions. Due to the limited research on carbon dioxide pipelines and the lack of materials that can be used for reference, there are many similarities between carbon dioxide and natural gas, especially in terms of pipeline transportation characteristics, It is scientific and reasonable to learn from the transportation characteristics of natural gas in pipelines to study the characteristics of carbon dioxide pipelines. By using the same research method, analyze the changes in various parameters of carbon dioxide in pipelines, especially the changes in pressure drop and temperature drop, and the degree of influence of impurities, in order to grasp the flow patterns of pipelines and provide theoretical support for on-site practical operation work.
