Within the project we are aware of the existence of two major faults of northeast orientation, the Playitas and Mejia faults and minor faults called El Saltillo and Santi Faults. The Saltillo fault (N25°E/70°SE) was identified in the river that takes the same name, it is located in the oriental part of the mining concession, it has a shearzone area from 1.0 m to 1.5 m of width in which veins of potassium feldspar were observed. The Santi fault (N45°E) was found in the mine that takes the same name; it located in the sector of the village of Nigüa away from the concession polygon. Along the area of shears of this Fault, it intrudes a mineralizated diorite dike by disseminated pyre, with 20 m of thickness and cuts to the granodiorite.
