The contribution of the elderly employment groups to a limited extent and their re-engagement in social participation reflect the change of social development to the elderly labor force and the change of the concept of the elderly, from the traditional enjoyment of the old age to the current retreat, reflecting the progress of the times. Therefore, this paper is based on the active aging of the participatory dimension, under the guidance of the theory of demand level, take the East Second Community as an example, on the ground to carry out a survey of the re-employment of the elderly. According to the survey data, the proportion of young people in the community who choose to re-enter the workforce is higher, and their physical and educational levels are better than among older people of other ages. Combined with the local environmental background of the community, on this basis, we will deeply explore the factors affecting the re-employment of the elderly, then focus on the problem, give advice on the problem, and try to provide feasible suggestions from the perspective of social workers to provide a good solution to the problem of re-employment of the elderly.
