On the research method, different foreign scholars use different research methods to study the classroom questioning of English reading, which includes observing research and investigation research. Long and Sato (1983),who did investigation research, found that there are a large number of display questions in English reading class, and only a few teachers use the target language to communicate in the classroom teaching. Brock (1986), who did an investigation, concluded that the reference question is more helpful for students to communicate with the target language than the display question, and the display question can promote the development of the students' rational thinking ability.
