In this paper, 18 factors driving land-use dominant morphology transitions (LDMT) was selected. The VIF (variance inflation factor) value between the factors was then analyzed via linear regression to search formulticollinearity. The multicollinearity test and stepwise regression analysis showed that four factors had significant relationships with the active degree index of the LDMT. Furthermore, independent variables with a significant influence were automatically identified by stepwise regression, all insignificant variables were excluded from the model.
