In this study, the whole genome of Apocynum venetum chloroplast was sequenced and analyzed. a. Venetum cp genome is 150,878 bp, with a pair of inverted repeat regions (IRA and IRB), each inverted repeat region is 25,810 bp, which are large (LSC, 81,951 bp) and small (SSC, 17307 bp) ) Single copy area. The genome-wide GC content is 38.35%, LSC is 36.49%, SSC is 32.41%, and IR is 43.3%. The yew chloroplast genome encodes 131 genes, including 86 protein-coding genes, 8 ribosomal RNA genes and 37 transfer RNA genes. This study has discovered the unique characteristics of wisteria cp genome, which provides a theoretical basis for species identification and biological research. In this paper, a comparative analysis of the whole chloroplast genome of wisteria and its related species is helpful to formulate effective protection management strategies and molecular identification methods.
