Taxol was extracted from taxus cuspidata by supercritical CO2.The effects of different parts of taxus cuspidata,particle size of taxus cuspidata,extraction pressure,extraction time,and extraction temperature on the extraction rate of taxol were investigated.The results show that the extraction rate of taxol is the highest when the particle size of taxus cuspidata leaves is100meshes,the extraction pressure is35MPa,the extraction time is120min,and the extraction temperature is35℃.Under the optimum extraction conditions,the average extraction amount of taxol from taxus cuspidata is3.28mg,and the average extraction rate is96.2%.The supercritical CO2extraction method has the advantages of no irritant odor,simple and safe operation,high extraction rate and environmental protection.The prospect of industrial application is wide.
