On the other hand, the temperature sensitivity of the film of 4b showed a slight dependence on pressure, indicating that the luminescence is quenched by oxygen molecules. Thus, 4a is considered to be preferable for practical use as a temperature-sensitive paint. To our best knowledge, this is a first example of oxygen-permeable polymer having temperature-sensing ability for PSP application.
