It is of great significance to construct the characteristic document information resources of local university library and improve the teaching research and local scientific research ability of serving university teachers and students. Relying on the local characteristics of Northwest Guangxi, we can construct the characteristic literature information resources of Hechi University Library from five aspects: the characteristic regional literature information resources, the characteristic historical and cultural literature information resources, the characteristic local records literature information resources, the characteristic industry literature information resources, and the characteristic school-based literature information resources. In practice, we find problems in construction and explore solutions to them.<br>
