3.1.2 Identification - Solar and supplier identification numbers shall be permanently affixed to the generator. Part numbers shall also be incorporated on each separately packaged component to aid in inventory control. 3.1.2.1 Identification Nameplates - Display of the supplier name or logo on the finished product shall be at Solar’s discretion. 3.1.2.2 Nameplate Configuration - Nameplates shall be in accordance with Supplier standard practice, and shall provide, as a minimum, that information required per NEMA MG 1, including voltage and frequency for the permanent magnetic generator (PMG). Nameplate shall be clearly labeled with required bearing oil flow + (plus) or – (minus) allowable tolerance. When purchased for standby duty or duties in excess of continuous duty, these ratings shall also be stated on the nameplate. Solar part number, as shown in the purchase document, shall be permanently affixed as part of the nameplate. Nameplates shall be visibly attached on the stator frame or end bell. 3.1.2.3 Information Plates - Information plates for maintenance or operational instructions shall be affixed in accordance with the supplier’s standard procedures. Type, nominal pressure and minimum/maximum flow of lubrication per bearing shall be included. For maintenance purposes, the total generator and rotor weight shall be listed. Nameplates shall be visibly attached on the stator frame or end bell.
