天主的话是种子，基督是撒种者，邀请我们预备自己的心田，让种子发芽生长，开花结果。今天的福音给了我们一个保障：凡落在好地里的，就能结出果实。在信仰的生活中，实在有很多「凑巧」的事情发生，就如撒种时，「凑巧」一些落在好地，一些落在坏地。邀请我们明辨，悉心（自己的心田）才能撒种子于好地里。从数不完的圣人们的故事—更别说曾经无数男女渴望慷慨贡献生命—我们可以发现，这些使命都是从「渴望能真实的去爱」开始。而这些使命总是在美好中绽放，不论结出的果实大小。最初，可能是从小就开始学习慷慨的生活，天主便将圣言的种子埋在他们的心田。但当我们对聆听天主的话渴望成长时，就是落在好地里，就结了实：有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。有耳的，听吧！”
