Another advanced feature is the dynamic window adjustment. The dynamic window adjustment is a powerful and simple technique. This technique reduces the peak windowwhich is used to integrate the chromatographic peak. The technique is represented in the below figure. A fewparameters must be configured with this method.Maximum reduction from start or end: Those factors are also determined during method development. Thosefactors are typically set by injecting a low concentration, for example 5% of the full range. Using this peak, maximum window reduction factors are calculated by the chromatographer. Those factors are then used tolinearly reduce the start and end time from the start and end height.Window reduction starting height (Start and end height): Those factors are used to determine from whichheight the window is reduced. Above that value, the full height is used. Below that value, the window is linearlyreduced. The full height is calculated during calibration. The software estimates the height of a fullscale peak.
