In this paper, the measures of geological exploration, field monitoring, theoretical stress analysis and checking calculation, and stress and deformation analysis by using Midas software modeling are taken to study the "K48 + 800 high fill slab culvert" project after cracking and analyze the causes of cracking. According to the causes of cracking, different treatment schemes are put forward, and the best scheme is determined by comparing and selecting schemes from the aspects of structure, cost and construction period. In order to determine the final reinforcement measures, the theoretical stress analysis and checking calculation are adopted for the reinforcement scheme, and the stress and deformation analysis are carried out by using Midas software modeling. After the completion of the project, the reinforcement effect of the culvert is surveyed to prove the feasibility of the treatment measures.
