Abstract: The most important factor affecting the efficiency of activated sludge treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater is sludge activity. The traditional sludge detection index detection process is cumbersome and has a lag. Therefore, this topic adopts a new type of sludge detection method, the light deflection method. Conduct experimental research. In this study, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) gel beads were used to enrich the microorganisms in activated sludge, which was used as an auxiliary tool to detect the light deflection caused by the metabolism of microorganisms in the sludge, and the PVA gel was measured by a light spot analyzer. The light deflection distance of the pellets characterizes the sludge activity. Preliminary experiments on light deflection of soluble organic matter, plants and activated sludge are carried out to verify their feasibility, and then applied to the batch activated sludge process (sequencing batch reactor activated sludge process, referred to as SBR) and fully mixed and exposed activated sludge. In the mud method, a single factor experiment was carried out, and three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope detection and analysis were assisted. The results found that the concentration gradient generated by organic matter and biological metabolism in the preliminary experiment can bow | luminescence deflection, and it is also suitable for activated sludge. In the SBR activated sludge method and the fully mixed aeration activated sludge method, by controlling the single factors of SV30, MLSS, aeration amount, aeration time, influent COD, pH, and heavy metal concentration, it is found that CODcr removal rate and PVA The light deflection of the gel beads presents a certain corresponding relationship, indicating that the light rotation can reflect the changes in sludge activity caused by these factors to a certain extent. However, data fluctuates in the time deflection value of additional drugs such as changing pH, heavy metal concentration, etc. Three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy found that the organic matter involved in the metabolism of microorganisms in activated sludge included tyrosine, aromatic proteins, and tryptophan. Scanning electron microscopy found that a large number of microorganisms and mainly bacteria were attached to the surface and inside of the PVA gel beads. Using PVA gel beads as an auxiliary tool to measure the optical rotation can objectively reflect the growth and metabolism of microorganisms in the activated sludge system. . In summary, the light deflection method can reflect the metabolic state of microorganisms in the activated sludge of printing and dyeing wastewater to a certain extent, so the light deflection method can characterize the activity of sludge to a certain extent.
