It is worth noting that the evolution trace of the rate of viscosity issimilar to the gas consumption rate gained in the experiments whichwere carried out in autoclaves, which suggests that CP hydrate growth isstill limited to the mass transfer or heat transfer whether wax crystals arepresent or not. Vysniauskas and Bishnoi [68] proposed a semi-empiricalmodel in which the exponential function was used to describe thegrowth rate of gas hydrates. Besides, driving force like subcooling orfugacity difference has been widely used in the prediction models of gashydrate growth kinetics. Unfortunately, it is difficult to obtain CP hydrate formation amount in this work because no temperature andpressure data can be used to calculate the driving force. More efforts aredemanded for investigating the specific driving force in the CP hydrateforming systems.
