Abstract: as one of the ten core literacy, geometry intuition plays an important role in the development of primary school students' mathematics. The problem can be simplified by using geometric intuition. However, the actual students' ability of geometric visualization is uneven, which leads to the difference in the ability of solving problems. This paper investigates the current situation of students using geometric intuition to solve problems and the situation of teachers using geometric intuition teaching in teaching. It is concluded that most students like to solve problems by geometric intuition. Students are divided into three categories: drawing without drawing, drawing random and drawing clear to reflect students' geometric intuitive ability. It is found that students' ability of geometric intuition in practical problem solving is found The knowledge of different modules is different; the survey finds that teachers also infiltrate geometry directly in teaching, but lack of modern education technology. In view of the problems of teachers and students, the author proposes that students should standardize the drawing and strengthen the ability of geometric visualization, follow the teaching ideas of teachers and standardize the drawing; teachers should dig the contents of teaching materials in depth, increase practical activities, and increase the use of modern education technology in class to improve students' ability to solve problems by using geometric intuition.<br>
