This paper first defines the concept of autonomous learning on the basis of literature research, explores the theoretical basis of autonomous learning, and summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad. Then, by using the methods of questionnaire and interview, this paper explores the relationship between Online Autonomous Learning and English learning achievement of middle school students, collects and analyzes the data, summarizes the ways and characteristics of Online Autonomous Learning of middle school students. Finally, according to the results of the study, the author puts forward some suggestions and Countermeasures on how to use the Internet to learn English autonomously.
