1 Cycle:Kettle filled to Maximum should be boiled until the Max Soak Temperature of the Kettle has been reached. 1) Drop kettle from a height of 15cm (kettle base parallel with the ground) on to a concrete/solid floor.2) Inspect kettle Repeat 10 Cycles. Take Photos after test. The kettle should not fail dangerously, i.e. electrically safe. Water should only leak from the spout or lid. Make a note of any leaks and when they occurred. Following the test the kettle should be filled to max with water and food dye, boiled and then left for 24h on a sheet of white paper to check for any leakage. If the kettle shows no sign of leakage and failed electrically safe it has passed this drop test.
