In recent years, the trend of business communication research has been growing rapidly, and politeness strategies in various business activities have been widely concerned. More and more researchers have begun to focus on the concrete embodiment of politeness in business activities. However, there are few studies on Politeness in cross-cultural business negotiation, especially in the context of real negotiation. Therefore, based on the previous studies on language politeness and business negotiation, this paper explores the politeness strategies that negotiators use to save face threatening behaviors in the process of cross-cultural business negotiation based on brown and Levinson's politeness. And according to the frequency of use, the paper discusses the characteristics of politeness strategies in different stages of negotiation.<br>
