This paper takes the cognition and participation of WeiShusheng middle school students in Panjin City as the research object, summarizes and analyzes the problems faced by WeiShusheng middle school and research travel in the development of Panjin City at present, and puts forward some basic countermeasures to promote the better development of research travel. By using the methods of literature, questionnaire and mathematical statistics, this paper investigates the cognition and participation of WeiShusheng middle school students in research travel in Panjin City. The following four conclusions are drawn: first, most of the students are more inclined to take part in the study tour of nature, humanities and science and technology; second, the process of study tour is relatively flat, and students can not get rich harvest in the process; third, the route arrangement of study tour is not enough to attract students, the time can not be fully accepted by students, and there is an extreme phenomenon of too long and too short; finally, Safety quality and talent quality need to be improved.<br>
