The Three Holy Ones are the dominant feature in the whole picture. With a magnificent canopy hanging above head, Amida sits cross-legged; his fingers form the mudra of preaching the Dharma (dharma-cakra-pravartana). Amida is flanked by Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva on his left and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva on his right, each attended by many bodhisattvas.
