吴明明是家里的一名独生女，上了一个专科学校，选择了护理专业，希望能当一名护士。<br>  她在毕业一年半以后到资源县县城的一所医院做护士，她当了一段时间的护士以后，发现护士工作每天的工作又苦又累，还要经常值夜班，很不习惯这样的生活作息。<br>   每次回家的路上都会看到学校的老师热情地教着学生，还有固定的上班时间让她更加羡慕。于是她了解了很多关于考取硕士以及当老师的相关资料，决定考取学科英语的一切硕士，希望自己能够转行做教师。<br>  她也询问几个当老师的朋友的意见，朋友们都表示赞同，并愿意为她提供帮助。吴明明的父母都是在家里务农，在她备考前她打算回乡下跟父母商量，她很害怕父母坚决反对她放弃现在稳定的工作去读硕士，但是她一提出，父母都表示只要是你自己想好了，我们都愿意支持你，只要你能过的开心，那我们也就放心了。<br>  她回去以后把医院的工作辞掉了，全心全意投入备考中去。由于她之前的基础并不算好，在她备考的时候学习英语非常的困难，她开始报班进行打基础，买了很多相关资料，每天都很早起床，每天的时间不是吃饭睡觉就是在学习，中间几度由于学习太困难想要放弃，但是想到父母和朋友对自己的支持，又有了动力，吴明明就这样一直努力的坚持了下去。
