6.2 Verification Method6.2.1 Suppliers shall develop an approved self-audit process that subjects the testing system to periodic testing verification to ensure defects are being found. The method for this process needs to introduce errors at a connection point and then follow up to see that those errors are found during testing. The method should not result in any destructive testing, unsafe act or other means that would damage the system under test. This type of verification method is commonly used during training on a module that does not ship to a customer.6.2.2 Rework of circuits and components ≥30A whether at the supplier site or within Applied Materials requires a new IR thermal Scan. A certified thermographer must rescan the reworked circuits and components effected. A FLIR tools report must be generated for the re-scanned circuits and components.
