For the origin of color, color is a visual effect on light produced by eyes, brain and our life experience. People's perception of color is not only determined by the physical properties of light, for example, people's perception of color is often affected by the surrounding color. Sometimes people also call the physical characteristics of matter that produce different colors directly as color. People used color about 150000-200000 years ago in the ice age. The exploration of color perception and color category has a long history, and the related philosophical speculative explanation can be traced back to the ancient Greek era. The ancient Greek philosopher renon once pointed out that "color is the initial form of material phenomenon". Plato believed that human color perception process needs three basic conditions: light source, reflective object, and eye receiving reflective function. Aristotle paid attention to the typological study of color composition. In his view, the color category can be divided into two categories: simple color and composite color. In the 17th century, the British scientist Newton began to study the color with real scientific significance. With the help of prism, he carried out physical optical experiments on color attributes, separated seven colors of spectrum: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue and purple, and revealed the mystery of the color of matter, that is, the color of matter is caused by different reflectance and refractive index of light with different colors on the object. Since then, Newton's color optics theory has replaced the traditional philosophical speculative inference, enriched the color epistemology, and set the color research on the road of scientific development.
