Contrary to our hypothesis, there were no differences among students with different bullystatus with regard to attachment to teacher. It can be claimed that because peer relations gainimportance during adolescence, adolescents may not value relationship with teachers much. Bergin andBergin (2009) claim that kindergarten children and primary school children may develop strongerrelationships with their teachers than secondary and high school students , because teachers atkindergarten and primary schools spend more time with students. Supporting this explanation, it wasshown that 4th and 5th grade students scored higher on attachment to teacher than 8th grade students(Savi, 2011).
