With the increasing demand for fossil fuel and thewidespread concern about environmental issues, there isgrowing interest in the development of alternative clean energy sources [1]. As proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) is an high density electrochemical device that converts the chemical energy of a reaction between hydrogenand oxygen into electricity without any pollution [2], it becomes a great alternative. Substantial resources have beenrecently invested around the world to advance this technology aiming to capitalize the high efficiency and low emission benefits of PEMFC for applications ranging from stationary power to vehicles for propulsion and the operationof electrically powered accessories [3]. However, the performance that the PEMFC cannot respond to the rapid varyingpower demand restricts the application of the fuel cell vehicles (FCV).
