There was a significant main effect of cue type (F(1,11) = 13.897, p < .01), but no main effect of target type (F(1,11) = .004, ns) or interaction (F(1,11) = 3.51, ns). Post hoc t-tests revealed that visual cues led to faster correct recall than auditory cues (t(11) = 2.7, p < .01).
