The supplier shall establish and maintain a quality system that controls critical incoming raw materials. Quality system standards shall be established by which critical raw materials are specified, recorded and tracked. Critical materials shall be purchased, received and released to production as specified by the quality system standard. Once “Component Specific Approval” has been granted, the supplier shall not change a critical raw material standard without prior written approval from the responsible Applied Materials Global Materials Organization Special Process Group (GMO SPG) in accordance with procedures defined in Applied Materials Global Materials Resource Manual document 2-38, “Supplier Notification Form Procedure.”
