The DRV8871 is a brushed-DC motor driver forprinters, appliances, industrial equipment, and othersmall machines. Two logic inputs control the H-bridgedriver, which consists of four N-channel MOSFETsthat can control motors bidirectionally with up to 3.6-Apeak current. The inputs can be pulse-widthmodulated (PWM) to control motor speed, using achoice of current-decay modes. Setting both inputslow enters a low-power sleep mode.
