Klebsiella is distributed in aquatic environment and also in human and animal intestines. It can cause respiratory tract, urinary and reproductive tract infections, trauma, sepsis and diarrhea. It is the most important kind of bacteria in the genus Klebsiella of Enterobacteriaceae. Recent medical studies have found that Klebsiella is highly resistant because of its variability, and its health hazards to human body are also increasing year by year. One of the main pathogens of nosocomial infection.<br>The three strains, obtained from IHMA and JMI in the United States, were supplied by Roche Company to HDB for use in its project research.<br>The strain was isolated from the lungs of mice.<br>
