It can be seen from Figure 5a that the catalyst dosage is positively correlated with the degradation rate of tetracycline. Under the same microwave power of 800W, the degradation rate and amount of tetracycline both increase with the increase of the catalyst dosage. The experimental results show that in the absence of a catalyst, microwave radiation can directly induce more than 70% of the tetracycline to degrade within 30 minutes of reaction time. When the catalyst dosage is less than or equal to 50mg, although the degradation rate of tetracycline is increased, it cannot be completely degraded within 30 minutes. When the dosage of the catalyst is increased to 100 mg or more, it can be found that the degradation reaction mainly occurs in the first 5 minutes, and almost complete degradation of tetracycline can be completed in the first 15 minutes of the reaction, and the degradation rate of tetracycline is greatly improved. The degradation rates of 100mg and 200mg catalysts are very close. Considering cost factors, a catalyst dosage of 100mg is considered to be the most suitable catalyst dosage.
