According to the combination of the "English Curriculum Standards" 2011 and the requirements of the new curriculum reform, our fundamental point is student-oriented, we must vigorously give play to the self-perceived initiative of students in learning, so that English becomes lively and interesting and can be used practically. The new requirements of education also specify the requirements of keeping pace with the times for primary school English educators. Interactive education is the most effective and direct way of education. As a primary school English educator, understanding students and building a good teacher-student relationship with students is the prerequisite, secondly, understanding the psychological knowledge to understand the psychological structure of students of different ages, and thirdly, the development of the current role of educating students. We must go into the hearts of students, respect and assist students to truly master that they are the actors of learning, fully understand and truly be the masters in the sense of learning. All of this is inseparable from the interactive teaching mode, and continuous promotion and persistence are the main methods. Therefore, the premise of using the interactive teaching mode in this paper is to point out the areas that need to be improved in the interactive teaching mode on the basis of the actual elementary school education. Several suggestions for improving the effectiveness of primary school English teaching are provided for reference.
