We collected data through intensive interviewing with 20 teacher educators (10 females, of various rankings, teaching different subjects, with or without pedagogical training) and five focus groups with 25 graduate students (22 females, 23–34 years old, different specialisations), respectively teaching and studying in Master’s degree programmes in Educational Sciences in Greek universities. Postgraduate studies in Greeceusually share the following structure: a set of theory-oriented courses for smaller or larger groups of students and a one-to-one supervised research project.
