在沉浸式虚拟现实环境中,我们所谈论和要面对的交互及交互设计,有着比单纯的人与计算机屏幕的交互、人与某种具体的产品间交互、人与数字产品间的交互等更为复杂和综合的的交互环境、条件和方式。从更长远的范围来看,虚拟现实环境中的交互,集合了人类从原始的自然交互一直至今天积累的各种交互经验,其中包括人与环境以及他人,人与物件及工具的关系,人与虚拟界面的关系,人与魔法及想象力的关系,交互的方式从单一的视觉、听觉或触觉等融合为多通道综合感官交互。因而在本研究中,对沉浸式虚拟现实交互的梳理,有更为广阔的范围及复杂性。通过对各种关系的梳理,综合为在虚拟现实中数字化的人与虚拟世界中的人事物的关系的理解,其本质和表象,成为判断作品和艺术设计创作的基础。在理解这一关系的基础上,本文以新媒体艺术设计研究为背景,更加关注如何从艺术设计的角度进行虚拟现实中的交互设计及评价,使虚拟现实作品具有更优的、尤其是从审美的角度而来的体验感。早期作品的实现首先基于及受限于软件技术与硬件运转的支持,在体验的品质上有极大的提升余地,现阶段无论是对体验者还是创作者而言,追求更高的的审美体验都成为显性的目标。本项目的研究梳理在对虚拟现实作品交互艺术设计审美水品的提升上具有一定的意义。
