We require our PCB suppliers to comply the latest revision of IPC-1601, IPC-6011 and IPC-A-600 specification, unless otherwise stated.BAR CODE REQURIEMENTS1.Jabil, requires the Bar-code label to be attached for all material / packages shipped to its manufacturing facilities. This is also in line with our program to have more parts qualifying for the DTS (Dock To Stock). 2.Please ensure the inner pack label is implemented using barcode label with immediate effect. Refer to attached file describing the key elements required for the inner pack barcode label implementation as reference. Note : Please ensure the MPN (Manufacturing part number) is correctly matching to the Jabil PO MPN Info. Kindly revert to the Jabil Buyer immediately if there is any mismatch. 3.The attached specification describes the standard guidelines for printing labels with bar-coded data for placement on packages. Strict conformance to these specifications for bar-code labels is required. To ensure compliance, please submit a hardcopy sample label containing all the required information for scanning verification. 4.For the interim period of implementation the barcoding system, we are requesting all suppliers to install and utilize the barcoding font attached for viewing and generating your own barcode label to be pasted on the innerpack label.
